Follow our Freedom of Information (FOI) requests about decisions affecting Adelaide’s Park Lands. The live tracker shows what we've requested, which agencies hold the information and how each application is progressing.
We record outcomes, including documents released, access refused and applications proceeding to internal or external review. Released documents are available in our FOI Explorer.
Days since lodged
The total number of calendar days since the application was submitted, including any time spent in review. Under South Australia’s Freedom of Information Act 1991, agencies must deal with applications as soon as practicable and ordinarily within 30 days. Extensions are permitted in specified circumstances. A counter above 30 days does not, by itself, mean the agency is overdue.
Current stage
“Lodged” means we are awaiting the agency’s decision, called a determination. If dissatisfied, the applicant can generally request an internal review, where the agency reconsiders its decision and has 14 days to respond. An external review asks Ombudsman SA to independently review the matter.
Current document access
Shows what has been made available so far. Documents may be released in full, released in part with information removed (redacted), or refused entirely. “Pending” means an access decision is still awaited. The outcome may change following review.
FOI Explorer
Where available, the FOI Explorer link leads to documents and further information about the application. Documents may already be available while a review seeking further access continues. The agency reference is the identifier assigned to the application by the agency.
